It is done.
I completed the music for Galactic Glory Holes 3: Truck Stop at the End of the Universe (Original Game Soundtrack) for the RPM Challenge around 1:30 am on March 1. (I officially stopped working 1.5 hours past the official midnight deadline, but I spent that extra time working on The Black Hole, which added 11 minutes and one more track above the required 10 tracks or 35 minutes, so both requirements were technically met around 11:30 Saturday night… Whew! :))
I’m pretty happy with the compositions, but am unhappy with the mix, especially as it sounds on a real CD on a real stereo. Mixing is a whole other skillset that I’ll need to at least attempt to develop, I guess.
I plan to host a listening party coincident with the “official” RPM Challenge Listening Party on Saturday, March 28, so maybe I’ll have time to fix the mix before then.
It feels good to have finished, and I hope to participate again next year!
